Bradel bindings are quickly becoming my house style for books that I'm making for myself. I love the way they look, I like how they open up, and I love the way you can tuck labels into the boards to keep them in place.
Lovely and simply made.
You'll see the extra book cloth on the for edge of the covers. I've put them on to hide that my boards were initially too short, by about a centimeter, so I've shimmed the gap in and covered it up. You can tell, but I like the look, and I might do it on future books for aesthetics alone.
